I hate to say it, but $ 1000, and combinations of the game is bad when you think RPG and MMO. A MacBook can do use, or used steel. Id TWORD MacBook slim, because you'll have a little more power could, and able to manage some FPS or RTS-lite. But the truth, because the game is less than $ 1,000, you will be better with a G4 desktop.
Theres no such thing ... just a job. Many jobs are ideal for games, and less than $ 1,000. Depends ... Ask yourself, "I really need a laptop?" I also liked the laptops are never an office.
